These are just a few ideas of what to bring, but remember everything must go in your 17 foot canoe. This is wilderness camping, you stop along the way and set up your campsite.
Please respect land owners and the “No Trespassing” signs. No one comes around to pick up your trash so everything, including your trash, must come out with you.
It is best to choose a campsite where a fire pit is already in place so the river stays pristine.
We do not recommend glass containers and please do not burn your cans. They do not burn completely and when the river floods these items end up on the bottom of the river. Please bury or burn your toilet paper it is really becoming a problem.
